Lately I have been getting more and more into the art of the graphic novel. I am not talking about the type of graphic novels being pushed out by DC and Marvel. I am talking about graphic NOVELS. I recently bought Shortcomings by Adrian Tomine and am really digging it.
To be honest the reason I really looked into this guy was because I am currently working on a cover for the New Yorker in my Illustration B class at Cal State Fullerton, and my favorite covers from the past couple years happened to be his covers.
